A Heartwarming Gesture from the Inner Wheel Club!

On 30th January 2025, the Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore Junction hosted a special function, inviting Ms. Madhu Singhal, Founder & Managing Trustee of Mitra Jyothi. She was accompanied by two of our students and Akanksha, our Project Coordinator.

The Inner Wheel Club donated 30 pen drives to support the students of our Digital Literacy Batch. This thoughtful contribution will help our students access and store valuable learning materials with ease.

Mitra Jyothi is delighted to welcome the 58th batch of our Digital Literacy Program! Over the next three months, these inspiring participants will embark on a life-changing journey to master computer skills using the NVDA screen reading software. But the program doesn't stop there—our holistic training also covers Mobility and Orientation, signature skills, spoken English, soft skills, personality development, career guidance, resume writing, and fitness. By the end of this empowering experience, participants will earn certification from NIIT and emerge as confident, self-reliant individuals ready to take on the world. Meet Conslata Ougo, a hardworking farmer from Homa Bay County. Despite challenges as a widow, she has built a thriving business growing beans, maize, cassava, and sweet potatoes.

Since joining The Pangea Network, Conslata has gained valuable skills in time management and bookkeeping, and has expanded her farm using the revolving funds provided. She’s even acquired new land to grow her business further. 🌱

Her dream is to become a farm produce wholesaler in Kendu Bay, and she is well on her way. Conslata is proud to have educated all her children and continues to inspire her family and community with her determination. 👏
