Since 2005, we’ve worked alongside government schools to improve education quality in remote villages. Run entirely by passionate volunteers, Vidhyadaanam is committed to creating an equitable and sustainable society through education.

Neki's Visit to Sahyadri Foundation

On 28th November, Neki team had the privilege of visiting Sahyadri Foundation in Nagpur, Maharashtra. Accompanying their team, we explored Aastha - Homeless Rehabilitation Shelter, a remarkable initiative dedicated to providing dignity and hope to those in need.

We were truly inspired by the incredible efforts of Mr. Devendra Kshirsagar, Director of Sahyadri Foundation, and his team, who shared insights into their various impactful campaigns. Witnessing their work firsthand was both humbling and heartwarming, especially knowing that their reach extends across three states - Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh.

We are grateful for this opportunity to connect with such a passionate and dedicated team. Thank you, Sahyadri Foundation, for welcoming us and for the outstanding work you do.

We are proud to introduce Milka Adhiambo Onyango as our Woman of the Month! A 42-year-old farmer and businesswoman from Kochia - God Bondo, Homabay County, Milka grows crops like beans, maize, and potatoes while also selling charcoal and firewood.

Despite facing challenges, including a lack of family support, Milka’s life has transformed since joining Pangea Network. Through training in business skills and bookkeeping, she learned to manage her finances and keep her business stable. With Pangea’s loan, she’s now able to support her family and pay for her children’s education.

Milka’s dream is to expand her farming and charcoal business. She is dedicated to her work and aims to achieve even more as she continues to grow her business.

From the Sahyadri Foundation, our team included Director Vijay Kshirsagar, Srusti Punsagar, Pragati Godghate, Gautam Nagare, Hemant Pandhram, and Dinesh Doifode.
