On May 9th, 2025, ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India) invited eight students to receive smartphones and Braille kits as part of their initiative to empower Persons with Disabilities. The devices were graciously distributed by Shri S. Govindaraj, the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities for the states of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Karnataka, and Kerala.
The heartwarming event took place at the ALIMCO office in Jalahalli, Bangalore, following meticulous verification of the beneficiaries' documents.
A heartfelt thank you to ALIMCO for taking a meaningful step towards enhancing the independence of Persons with Disabilities through technology. Together, we move closer to building a more inclusive and empowered community.
