Meet Mercy Blessing Odhiambo, a determined 18-year-old from Awendo, Migori County! Mercy has recently completed her high school education at St. Francis Rangala Girls and is preparing for the next chapter in her journey. 📚✨

Her favorite subjects are Kiswahili and Chemistry, and she dreams of becoming a lecturer and part-time hostess/cabin crew member! ✈️

Mercy has faced significant challenges, particularly in balancing her subjects, managing time, and dealing with the fear and anxiety of not meeting expectations. But through the mentorship and support of The Pangea Network, she has found the strength and confidence to overcome these struggles. 💪

Mercy’s most notable achievement? A B+ (Plus) in her Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education exams! Her hard work and perseverance have paid off, and she’s now ready to pursue a bright future in university, starting in September 2025.

Meet Conslata Ougo, a hardworking farmer from Homa Bay County. Despite challenges as a widow, she has built a thriving business growing beans, maize, cassava, and sweet potatoes.

Since joining The Pangea Network, Conslata has gained valuable skills in time management and bookkeeping, and has expanded her farm using the revolving funds provided. She’s even acquired new land to grow her business further. 🌱

Her dream is to become a farm produce wholesaler in Kendu Bay, and she is well on her way. Conslata is proud to have educated all her children and continues to inspire her family and community with her determination. 👏
