We focus on improving the vitality and livability of the West Hill / Highland Square neighborhood of Akron, Ohio. We are restoring the historic look of our neighborhood's streetscape, which has lost many of the century homes through both neglect and the collapse of the housing bubble by building community gardens, small parks and other green spaces. We sponsor youth gardens and community orchards where we teach both hands on food growing while trying to show good stewardship of our planet.
