What Drives Us at TEACH Trust:
Every child deserves the chance to dream big and pursue those dreams without financial roadblocks standing in the way. That’s the belief at the heart of the TEACH Trust.
We don’t fund everyone. We don’t fund everything. But we do step in where it matters most, to support academically brilliant students who are at risk of dropping out simply because they cannot afford to continue their education.
Here’s what we stand by:
1.No Discrimination
We welcome students of all religions, castes, ages, and genders. While we’re fully inclusive, we also recognize the proven long-term impact of educating girls and we have a gentle preference for girl students if everything else is equal.
2.Needs, Not Wants
We believe no child should be forced to give up school or college just because they can’t pay for it. That’s why we focus on core education expenses - school or college fees, books, and essential materials like a laptop. We ask applicants to keep their requests realistic so we can extend our reach.
3.Performance Matters
We require students to meet a minimum academic standard. As long as that’s maintained, support continues. And if a student tops their class or college? We cover 100% of their fees, no matter the amount.
4.A Gift, Not a Loan
Once a student completes their education and finds employment, we encourage them to support the next generation through the Trust so the cycle of impact continues.
The TEACH Trust is not just about financial aid. It’s about fairness, potential, and a future where no child has to drop out because of money.

What You’ll Do:

Your support will directly help us focus on what matters most: keeping deserving students in school and removing financial roadblocks from their future.

At Teach Trust, we believe that education is the key to liberating and empowering individuals, families and communities. Our mission is to assist, financially challenged, but academically brilliant, students complete their graduation.
We deeply hold the notion that it is a great tragedy if even a single gifted child drops out of education merely for want of money.
Education has been instrumental in many people clawing their way out of penury. Statistics show how important and transformational educating even a single person in a family up to graduation level can be. If that single person happens to be a girl, such a transformation has a force multiplier effect not only on that family, but on the society at large.
At its heart, we at TEACH Trust want to ensure that financial roadblocks are removed from the path of academically good students.
In alignment with our mission we took initiatives and supported about 120 students in the year 2024-25 with a spend of around INR 45 lakhs.

Teach Trust: Why the trust was formed
TEACH, which stands for Tondiarpet Education Assistance for CHildren, is a non-profit organization that was established in 2018. It was started by six old friends who had previously lived in Tondiarpet. With a belief that it is a great tragedy if even a single child drops out merely for the want of money, their goal is to assist deserving students with financial assistance for education.
Education has been instrumental in many people clawing their way out of penury. NGOs provide statistics on how important and transformational educating even a single person in a family up to graduation level can be. If that single person happens to be a girl, such a transformation has a force multiplier effect not only on that family, but on the society at large.
Each child is a diamond in the rough and educating them creates a transformation in their life as well as in society at large. This is why, at its heart, the Trust wants to ensure that financial roadblocks are removed from the path of academically good students.
