USS Ling (SS-297) has been a beloved fixture in Hackensack, NJ since the 1970s when the U. S. Navy offered it to a group of local veterans for use as a floating museum. The WWII-era vessel has been operated and maintained by a group of devoted veterans from the Submarine Memorial Association who have worked tirelessly to keep the submarine's history alive. Closed to the public since 2015 as a result of Hurricane Sandy, Ling now needs your help to survive! Won't you please contribute?
