Strike is a multi-faceted percussion ensemble of 40 high school students (+ 60 middle school) that performs classical and contemporary percussion pieces, steel drum, jazz and Stomp-like selections. Strike students play for community and charity events, as well as their own concerts to raise funding for instruments, repairs, etc. The students learn to read advanced percussion literature, but also learn important life skills like time management, teamwork, organization and have an incredible work ethic.
