Since 1990 Breadbasket has been providing meals to those less fortunate with no questions asked. 5 days a week anyone, for any reason, can walk in and receive the most basic of all human needs- a meal.
The Breadbasket now serves over 4,800 meals a month. But we depend on the generosity of those who can give. Even with our best efforts to be efficient, it costs $2.33 per plate for a nutritious meal. We are a non-profit turning dollars into food through volunteers of our community.
