The PTA Thrift Shop opened its doors in 1958 as a volunteer organization associated with PTAs from 3 local school districts. In addition to the schools, we have added the La Habra Community Resource Care Center, Gary Center, Lutheran Church of the Master and Helping Hands of Orange County. This past year we were able to clothe 120 individuals, 28 adults, 26 children, 53 homeless adults with 13 children. We are now only 2 volunteers doing our best to keep our shop open to help the needy.
