The mission of Project: Distributing Dignity is to supply feminine hygiene products to the school girls in need on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. Because Pine Ridge is one of the poorest reservations in the country, most girls in schools face significant Period Poverty. These girls are often unable to finish school because of their lack of access to feminine hygiene products. Project: Distributing Dignity is designed by students to be a catalyst for change for other students.
