The Mountainside Restoration Committee (aka Mountainside Historic Committee) was established to preserve the Borough's links to the past. The premier venues are the Deacon Andrew Hetfield House (circa 1760) and the Levi Cory House (circa 1818), both restored and maintained by this volunteer committee which strives to focus attention on borough heritage through tours, newsletters, videos and events during the year. Their mission includes maintaining the Hetfield and Levi Cory houses in perpetuity.
