Irish Setter Rescue of North Texas, Inc. was organized in 2001 to rescue dogs of the Irish Setter breed who have been abandoned, abused or whose owners can no longer provide for their Irish Setters. Often, rescue involves receiving dogs from city or county animal shelters.
Irish Setter Rescue of N. Texas neuters, vaccinates, heartworm tests (and treats if needed), and provides a complete exam by a qualified veterinarian. The dog is fostered in volunteer's home until a suitable permanent home is found.
