Over thirty years ago, CHP began when several local churches came together to build a food pantry for food insecure families and individuals in Lumpkin County, Georgia. Today, we have grown to include a free clinic, free dental clinic, thrift stores, outreach to area schools, a Christmas outreach program and our thriving food pantry program. The heart of what we do is help others. We provide financial, food or medical assistance for one in six Lumpkin County residents a year and we strive to do more!
