The Black Experimental Theatre a/k/a the Riant Theatre in NYC. Our mission is to provide a nurturing environment to develop new plays and outstanding artists. We produce the Strawberry One-Act Festival and have presented over 1,500 plays. We provide internships to high school and college students and adults and give out the Youth Empowerment Scholarship Awards to Outstanding Teens enrolled in college. We also present the Pioneer of the Arts Awards to Outstanding Artists in Entertainment.
