Basic Health International exists to eliminate cervical cancer on a global level through cutting edge research for the prevention and treatment of cervical cancer in low resource settings so that no woman dies of this preventable disease. BHI is also addressing COVID-19 testing validation research and building laboratory infrastructure for SARS-CoV-2 testing which can also be used for other types of testing including HPV. This infrastructure is critical to cervical cancer elimination.
