Kids managing a mini library not only promotes reading but also cultivates a passion for literature among younger generations. 2 kids from our community are organizing and hosting events like story time and read-alouds, Book reading ,fostering a love for books and social interaction. This initiative empowers children with organizational and leadership skills while building community bonds. By curating books and creating a welcoming space, they inspire a culture of learning and imagination within their neighborhood, enriching lives through shared stories and creativity.
Kadam Education Initiative (KEI), a program under Kadam Education Trust (KET), is driven by the vision of "Education for Each and Everyone." Since its inception in 2012, KEI program has supported the education of children from poor and vulnerable communities. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves equal opportunities to build a life of dignity, KEI has been taking ‘small steps towards reclaiming childhood.’ The initiative focuses on enabling Quality Education for Adolescent Girls, acknowledging the harsh reality that many girls are forced to drop out of school as they approach adolescence, often to prepare for marriage. Through KEI program, young girls are empowered, and pathways are created for a brighter, more equitable future.
