This initiative encourages empathy and community engagement while nurturing artistic skills and appreciation. It also bridges generational gaps, fostering connections between youth and seniors through meaningful expressions of care and appreciation.
Gifts for Seniors provides inclusive programming to alleviate the devastating health impacts of social isolation for over 7,000 older adults every year. We serve individuals from over 16 cultural and ethnic communities. 100% are low-income or on a fixed budget due to age and 96% identify as having limited social opportunities. We are intentional about supporting those with the largest equity gaps to reduce disparities. Every program initiative is a need identified by the community themselves.
