Every night, thousands of children sleep on the streets of Delhi—exposed to hunger, abuse, and extreme weather. Many of them have been orphaned or abandoned and have no safe place to call home.

At Sahyog Foundation, we are working to change that. For the past 8 years, we've been providing food, education, and healthcare to children living on the streets. Now, we are taking the next step: building a permanent shelter where 50+ children can live, learn, and grow in a safe and nurturing environment.

This campaign will help us begin construction on our first shelter home in South Delhi. The funds raised will go toward land lease, construction materials, beds, sanitation facilities, and basic classroom infrastructure.

On the night of April 5th, Riya Verma’s world turned upside down. A fire broke out in her family’s rented home in Pune due to an electrical short circuit, destroying everything they owned. Thankfully, Riya and her younger brother made it out safely, but they’ve been left with no clothes, no belongings, and nowhere to call home.

Riya is a second-year B.Com student who also works part-time to support her family. Her father passed away two years ago, and her mother is currently undergoing treatment for a chronic illness. This tragedy has left the family emotionally and financially shattered.

We’re raising funds to help Riya and her family get back on their feet—to find safe shelter, buy basic household items, replace lost study materials, and support her mother’s ongoing medical needs.
