Tailoring project
Come join us and help us empower poor and unemployed women in slums.
Through Prayaas’s effort and collaboration with Daya trust we jointly operated this Tailoring training centre in Shimoga, Karnataka.
At this centre unemployed women were trained by an experienced tailoring instructor with minimum experience of five years in the garment industry. These women learn the essential skills and can later be employed in real factories. We coordinate with factories and get them placed. Till today 182 women have got trained in the centres for such skill development projects and out of which 103 got placed.
