About our Health and Hygiene Program

There tends to be a prevalence of health and hygiene issues, especially for women, in rural areas. To tackle this we have collaborated with Aakar innovations which is working towards the noble cause and making a difference in the lives of millions of rural women who cannot afford feminine hygiene products. We are striving to bring awareness about menstrual hygiene and the importance of the use of sanitary napkins in an eco-friendly and affordable way.

A series of workshops are being conducted by Kishalay foundation and Aakar innovations in the Sundarbans area to bring an awareness among women about menstrual hygiene and are also being provided with eco-friendly sanitary napkins at these workshops.
