This week, we’re shining a light on Butterflies By Blaq Incorporated - a nonprofit bringing confidence and care to children across the NY Tri-State area and beyond, now on the Neki platform!

Founded by Madame EJ Blackman and Kaiya Blackman, Butterflies BBI helps children (18 and under) who experience hair loss due to cancer treatments, alopecia, and other medical conditions by providing FREE hair replacements and solutions.

What makes them truly special? They go the extra mile — literally! Whether it’s a home or hospital visit, early morning or late evening, they meet families where they are. Each child receives a look that reflects their personality, their identity, and their smile.

Through their Pink Butterflies program, kids also get to participate in self-esteem workshops and fun outings.

Because at Butterflies BBI, it’s not just about hair it’s about restoring confidence, dignity, and joy.
