Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) began with a courageous dream from Alexandra "Alex" Scott, who, at just four years old, turned her front yard lemonade stand into a beacon of hope for children battling cancer. This National Wellness Month, which focuses on self-care, stress management, and creating healthy routines, ALSF invites you to be part of their inspiring mission by engaging in their wellness programs like The Million Mile, Team Lemon, and ALSF Games. These programs not only promote fitness and team spirit among employees but also contribute to groundbreaking research and support for families. Unite with ALSF to help cure childhood cancer through wellness and community.
Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation emerged from the front yard lemonade stand of cancer patient Alex Scott (1996-2004). In 2000, 4 year old Alex announced that she wanted to hold a lemonade stand to raise money to help find a cure for all children with cancer. Since Alex held that first stand, the Foundation bearing her name has evolved into a national fundraising movement. To date, ALSF has raised more than $250 million and funded over 1,000 pediatric cancer research projects across North America.
